Ida Storm Recovery

Disaster relief for New Jersey communities affected by Hurricane Ida in September 2021.

When Hurricane Ida struck the New York City region in September 2021, Devoted Skies responded by supporting displaced community members reeling from severe flooding and property damage across New Jersey and New York.

Our volunteers coordinated supply distribution, connected affected families with emergency resources, and worked alongside local community organizations to provide immediate relief. This effort reflects our belief that healthcare access and community resilience are inseparable — disasters disproportionately harm those with the fewest resources.

The Ida Storm Recovery effort has since concluded, with lessons learned informing how Devoted Skies approaches future domestic crises alongside our international mission work.
