Closing the primary-care gap in Accra

Devoted Skies' Ghana program focuses on primary-care access — the everyday clinic visits that catch problems early, keep families healthy, and prevent the catastrophic costs of late-stage care.

We partner with local clinicians and community health programs in and around Accra to:

• Stock essential medications and primary-care supplies
• Fund preventive screenings (blood pressure, diabetes, maternal health)
• Support community health worker training
• Help bridge gaps in clinic operations during funding shortfalls

Why primary care

Strong primary care is the single most cost-effective intervention in global health. A donation that funds a routine clinic visit prevents an emergency-room visit that costs ten times as much and may come too late.
