We increase patient access to modern medical care, improve quality of lives, and advance healthcare infrastructure in the regions that need it most.
Hear from our founder about what drives Devoted Skies' mission.
Needs-assessment-driven delivery of medical resources through annual in-person programs โ three days of clinical services, community education, and healthcare system seminars in underserved sub-rural communities.
Alliance development with organizations raising awareness of modern healthcare challenges โ disease awareness campaigns, patient support groups, fundraising walks, and food-pantry collection and distribution.
Annual Global Health Equity survey measuring program effectiveness across volunteers, patient advocacy groups, academic institutions, pharma, biotech, churches, government health departments, and NGOs.
“Reducing healthcare disparity and increasing patient access to care in global underserved communities — so that where you are born no longer determines whether you live.”
Every donation is a vote of confidence in equitable healthcare. Hear directly from the supporters whose generosity funds our work across Kenya, Ghana, Sierra Leone, and beyond.
“Your generosity reaches far beyond what you can see — it travels across oceans to people who need it most.”
Funso Olufade grew up between a sub-rural village in southwest Nigeria and Union County, New Jersey. His father, a physician trained in Nigeria, described the divide between the haves and the have-nots in a country where about 70% of people live in poverty and close to 90% of healthcare costs are paid out of pocket.
That reality became Devoted Skies in 2020 — a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) built to deliver medical supplies, forge clinic partnerships, and create lasting healthcare infrastructure across our project countries.
“I realized as a young child that there needed to be a bridge between healthcare delivery and the financing of healthcare. Hospitals do not have to be bankrupt.
Our board of directors guides Devoted Skies' mission, finances, and partnerships. All members serve as volunteers.
